English: On the way to Lhasa we stopped at this site and saw the large bias relief carving of Shakyamuni Buddha. This was wen the reality of being in Tibet came over me, wow. The long white items are the silk scarves, I received one at the airport. Lhasa, Tibet
The clear boxes in the front are for offerings to Shakyamuni Buddha. The long one is for yak butter candles. |
