H.E Margom Rinpoche was born in the solitary region of Dolpo in mid 1930s to a simple peasant family. He spent most of his childhood rearing sheep and goats on the seasonal grasslands of the region shifting from one nomadic region to the next region following the change of the season.
Rinpoche did not let himself get distracted by the worldly pleasure but followed the path of eternal peace and prosperity. Rinpoche bowed from the depth of his heart to vow the teachings and guidance of his root Guru to build himself as a hermit. Since then Rinpoche explored all the solitary caves of Dolpo year after year to practice the precious and secret laws of Mahayana School of Tibetan Buddhism. This selfless hermit engaged his whole for the service of humanity through the field of religion who build monasteries and stupas for the common benefits of general people. He also mended the narrow walking paths in the remote region of Dolpo from the money that he received from the local people.
H.E Margom Rinpoche is a great practitioner of the century who solely engaged his whole life for humanity and worldly creature.
